(IMG®), a driving force and leader in the international health insurance market, has been named one of the 2010 Best Places to Work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. IMG placed 19th on the list of 28 medium-sized companies (between 25 and 249 employees) and is featured in the May-June issue of BizVoice magazine. IMG was also honored at the awards dinner on May 6.
“Being named one of the best places to work in Indiana is a wonderful honor and a testament to how much we value our employees,” said Kathy Schutte, Senior Vice President of IMG. “They are the key to our success and it’s vital that we provide an environment that allows us to attract and retain top talent, in turn allowing us to provide top-level services to all of our clients and customers.”
This statewide survey and awards program was created in 2006, and is a project of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, BizVoice, Inside INdiana Business, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Best Companies Group. It was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Indiana, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce and its businesses. In association with the Chamber, Best Companies Group evaluated IMG’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics, and surveyed its staff to measure the employee experience.
